SOLICITOR (Private Client)

Primrose & Gordon, Solicitors and Estate Agents, Dumfries are looking to recruit an able, qualified Solicitor to assist in our busy Private Client department.

We are keen to hear from candidates at 2 years PQ level with previous experience of private client work (although newly-qualified Solicitor’s may be considered).

The work will involve all aspects of private client matters, including preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, the winding up of Estates (both testate and intestate) and some Family Trust work.  IHT experience is not essential and training and guidance can be given for the less experienced candidate.  This is a challenging position requiring a person of sensitivity, emotional maturity and good administration skills and legal knowledge.

The position will be Office-based although part working from home is a possibility if your circumstances require this.  We are offering a full time position, however, part-time or part-week work may also be considered for the right applicant.
